These works on paper show the breadth of my mark-making activity. Using a brush made from my own hair or paying homage to the animal and insect kingdom, each image relates to the cycle of life and death. The hand-made brushes dictate the character of the marks I make and the final image produced. Even a feather can become the brush, often later woven into the surface of the painting.
