Books have always been a part of my oeuvre. They become intimate containers for paintings or I incorporate them into my sculpture. The portability, history and physicality of a book are important reasons for using the pages of a book as my canvas. Repeated images acted out in a multitude of line and colors are composed into a visual story. A feather woven onto the surface of a page honors each single feather and its painted path.
